Cultural society  - Event Atelier Caldesign Werkstadt

Art and Culture have a long tradition in Vienna, and since the beginning of the 19th century not only public but also private concerts have been of great interest to the Viennese. The gatherings and Salons of Fanny Arnstein and Bertha Zuckerkandl, as well as the chamber music evenings held by Theodor Billroth, are legendary. 

The newly founded Cultural Society, Event Atelier Caldesign Werkstadt, aims to continue in the tradition of the old Viennese salons, providing a venue for artists and art lovers, in an intimate atmosphere under the motto of “affordable art”.

The Atelier Caldesign Werkstadt is situated in the 7th district of Vienna and will host 3 events a month where it will promote musical evenings, private viewings, poetry and “open discussion” soirees. National and International artists will be given the opportunity to introduce themselves and their work in an innovative and creative environment, fusing tradition with modern art, a continually evolving process.

As the Cultural Society is a nonprofit organization, it will depend on financial contributions from its members as well as sponsorship. Members will receive special rates for tickets to these events as well as advance notice and information regarding the evenings and artists themselves.
